U.S. 1776 Continental Dollar Replica. The Continental Dollar was intended for the redemption of the Continental paper currency that was issued to finance the Revolutionary War of Independence. Obverse shows a sun dial, the words Fugio (Time Flies) and Mind Your Business, words credited to Ben Franklin. On the reverse, 13 linked circles representing the original 13 States with the words, We are One.

Please note that "ABSENTEE" or "PROXY" bids take priority over live bids in all situations. In the event of a tie in the bidding, the winning bid will awarded to the proxy bidder in all situations.
