Issued in 1960 when Castro took over Cuba, Che Greuvera became president of the National Bank, he had a falling out with Castro (wars in South America), went to Bolivia, he was caught and murdered by the police and military forces. Later the US CIA and FBI were involved trying to overthrow Castro. Castro needed to change their American Bank Note issued currency. After the fall out with America all these notes were redundant. The notes were hand signed by Greuvera. A few were saved over the years and are now highly prized.
