The Red Pony: Part 1 by Johm Steinbeck was first published in 1963. My Spelling Grade 3 has no indication of when the book was published. Pages from Canada's Story was first published in 1928 and then was revised and reprinted multiple times. The Fisherman's Bedside Book was first published in December of 1945 and then was reprinted in 1946.
